Michele Jaquis (b. 1975 Buffalo, NY) is an Los Angeles based artist working at the intersections of conceptual and process art, documentary and social practice. Through long-term projects across a range of media her work explores personal, social and political relationships. Her work has been presented across the US and in Australia, Canada, Ireland, England, New Zealand and South Korea. Jaquis is a Professor and Director of Interdisciplinary Studies at Otis College of Art and Design. MFA in Sculpture, Rhode Island School of Design; BFA in Sculpture, Experimental Studio + minor in Psychology, Hartford Art School, University of Hartford.
